2007 Fay Gardner Achievement Award
Helen Barton joined the guild in 1996 and from the moment of stepping through the front door she has consistently offered her assistance as needed. Without any hesitation, at her first meeting she asked how she could help, and did so. She has been busy helping in any way possible since.
Helen took hold the treasurer position and was a wonderful treasurer, a role she held for the maximum number of years (six years) until 2006. Helen remains available to assist with the new treasurer’s questions whenever required, and stands in at junior guild if needed.
Helen takes every opportunity to assist the committee and members in any way she can. She is a regular at junior guild and is usually there before the committee arrives, busy setting up for the day.
Helen is always friendly, pleasant and obliging with a willingness to help whomever may need assistance. Thank you, Helen for all your hard work and congratulations on winning the 2007 Fay Gardner Achievement Award. It is very well-deserved.
